This is how a European fights with a sword

Idk. Find something to be proud of your heritages somehow. This is basically it though, also, a really fun game.

at least link proper sword fighting FFS. Real sword fighting is basically a thrust or a slash, then its over. You ancestors weren't twirling their swords around and jumping over the shoulders of their enemies.

Also, they most likely used spears and bows to kill everything, not swords. The english longbow is the signature weapon of your ancestors, how can you not know that? shame.

I always thought this was probably fairly accurate but idk

Knights used swords until armour became good enough to resist swords, then they used blunt instruments like maces. Fighting effectively with a sword required a lot of training unlike using a spear so plebs and men at arms used spears.
But yet they that have no science are in better and nobler condition with their natural prudence than men, that by mis-reasoning, or by trusting them that reason wrong, fall upon false and absurd general rules.
