Apollo Pipes Q4 PAT jumps 169% yoy to Rs16.6cr; Sales Volume rises 34% yoy to 12,987 tons

The company’s revenue in Q4 grew higher by 85% yoy to Rs174.2cr compared to Rs94.1cr in Q4FY20. EBITDA was higher by 158% yoy to Rs27cr.

Apollo Pipes Limited on Tuesday reported a 169% yoy rise in net profit to Rs16.6cr for the quarter ended March 31, 2021, compared to Rs6.2cr. Sales Volume grew higher by 34% to 12,987 tons in Q4FY21 from 9,721 tons in Q4FY20. 

The company’s revenue in Q4 grew higher by 85% yoy to Rs174.2cr compared to Rs94.1cr in Q4FY20. EBITDA was higher by 158% yoy to Rs27cr as compared to Rs10.5cr in Q4FY20.

During the fiscal year, FY21, Net Profit after Tax grew up by 56% yoy to Rs44.5cr compared to Rs28.5cr. Sales Volume was higher by 6% to 47,333 tons from 44,692 tons in FY20. Revenue went higher by 27% to Rs518.1cr from Rs408cr. EBITDA was higher by 60% to Rs74.3cr compared to Rs46.4cr. 

“We have reported an encouraging performance during the quarter led by a robust uptick in consumption in the domestic markets. During the quarter, our quarterly sales volume grew by 34% to 12,987 MTPA and full year sales volume grew by 6%, 47,333 tons driven by a healthy contribution from the cPVC, HDPE pipe and value-added product segment of Fittings. Cost-optimization measures and improved contribution from the high-margin fittings segment further resulted in a better gross margin performance during the quarter,” Sameer Gupta, Managing Director, Apollo Pipes, said.

Apollo Pipes Ltd trade on Tuesday ended at Rs1,144.40 per piece down by Rs37.7 or 3.19% from its previous closing of Rs1,182.10 per piece on the BSE.
