Renault Kiger prices hiked by up to Rs. 33,000

The prices of the base RXE and RXE Dual Tone as well as the RXT Turbo CVT and RXZ Turbo CVT variants remain unchanged.

Renault has increased the prices of the Kiger crossover by up to Rs. 33,000 depending on the variant.

The Kiger is available in four trims - RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ. The prices of the base RXE and RXE Dual Tone as well as the RXT Turbo CVT and RXZ Turbo CVT variants remain unchanged.

The Kiger is powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 99 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 160 Nm @ 2,800-3,600 rpm. It is also offered with a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre petrol motor producing 71 BHP @ 6,250 rpm and 96 Nm @ 3,500 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 5-speed CVT (Turbo-Petrol only) and a 5-speed AMT (NA Petrol only). In the CVT version, peak torque of the 1.0L turbo-petrol engine is restricted to 152 Nm @ 2,200-4,400 rpm.
