Integration platform MuleSoft announced Intelematics, mobility services provider, is using the former to survey what’s happening on Australia’s roads and to further deliver new services to its customers.
Intelematics initially implemented MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform to streamline its customer onboarding process after prioritising it for improvement. With MuleSoft, Intelematics can onboard new customers within 15 minutes of them signing up—a process that previously took up to half a day.
Before, many existing processes on customer signup involved team members perform lengthy, monotonous tasks or the manual extraction of information. Intelematics has automated these to provide real-time and accurate traffic information for city planning, road works, construction, and development projects and more.
Intelematics’ collaboration with MuleSoft is aligned with its architecture principles of reuse and microservices. By allowing engineers to discover new ways to unlock data sources and connect SaaS apps, Intelematics has been able to increase agility, speed, and productivity across the organisation.
Intelematics is also committed to ensuring its developers achieve a MuleSoft developer certification within the first three months of picking up the project. In addition, Intelematics has built up a suite of training resources and a course guiding its developers to use MuleSoft best practices. Within three months, five Intelematics developers and one architect were Mulesoft certified.
Nick Marks, Intelematics CEO, says: “MuleSoft empowers our teams to unlock data and automate mundane tasks like manual data extraction during customer onboarding so that we can focus on quickly delivering digital experiences, such as our streamlined customer onboarding process.
“By using MuleSoft, we are able to provide our customers, including city planners and transport professionals, with real-time traffic data and connected mobility to keep cities moving safely", he concludes.
