Nizamabad: Members of the Induru Yuvatha Volunteer Organization have come forward to make their contribution to helping families affected Covid and those who lost their loved ones to the dreaded virus.
The young people gathered to distribute essential products to the affected families for a month in various villages in the Nizamabad district.
The members distributed essential products in villages in Dharpally, Dichpally, Indalwai, Balkonda, Armoor mandalas and Nizamabad city. The teams leave the bags of essential merchandise outside the doors, talk to the people about their problems and return.
In view of their service-oriented approach, many others approached them through their youth organizations and telephone conversations in the town, to seek help. Maddukuri Sai Babu, founder of Induru Yuvatha, has so far said they have served the needy in nearly 25 villages in various mandals in the district and various areas in the city of Nizamabad.
He said they distributed a 25kg rice bag, two kinds of legumes, one edible oil packet, 1kg sugar and tea powder packet, masks and disinfectants and other necessities for each family. So far, they have distributed groceries to 68 families and plan to do so on Friday to another 20 families.
