Stocks to watch on May 4th: On Monday, both Sensex and Nifty continue their bearish trend in the stock market from the last session of the market. The Sensex is trading below 48,500 levels and nifty trading below 14,550 levels in the stock market. The Sensex lost 357.62 points with a 0.73% decrease and reached 48,419.59 levels. While the nifty lost 88.10 points with a 0.60% decrease and reached 14,543.00 levels.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India on Monday, May 3rd reached 1,99,25,604 with almost 2,18,959 deaths.

L&T Technology Services Limited: On Monday, the company reported its Q4 results for the financial year 2021-22. The companies net profit stood at Rs. 204.80 crores as against Rs. 186.10 crores in the previous quarter ended in December. While the companies revenue increased to Rs. 1,446.60 crores as against Rs. 1,400.70 crores in the same period last year.

However, the shares of L&T Technology Services Limited on Tuesday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. It lost 213.45 points with a 7.59% decrease and reached 2,583.60 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 211.40 points with a 7.56% decrease and reached 2,583.75 INR.

Home First Finance Company Limited: On Monday, the company reported its Q4 results for the financial year 2021-22. The companies net profit increased to Rs. 31.00 crores as against Rs. 12.00 crores in the same quarter last year. While the companies total income increased to Rs. 136.00 crores as against Rs. 106.00 crores in the same period last year.

However, the shares of Home First Finance Limited on Tuesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 23.30 points with a 4.79% increase and reached 512.00 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 23.60 points with a 4.83% increase and reached 512.35 INR.

Motherson Sumi Systems Limited: The companies wholly-owned subsidiary Motherson Rolling Stock Mexico has completed the acquisition of Bombardier Transportation for manufacturing of electrical wiring interconnection systems in Mexico.

On the other side, the shares of the company sold by HDFC Mutual Fund for Rs. 1,254.57 per share with almost 1.80 lakh equity shares via the bulk deal.

However, the shares of Tata Metaliks Limited on Tuesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 36.80 points with a 3.00% increase and reached 1,289.00 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 34.05 points with a 2.71% increase and reached 1,290.00 INR.

JSW Energy Limited: JSW Renew Energy, the wholly-owned subsidiary made an agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for producing 540 MW capacity.

However, the shares of Tata Chemicals Limited on Tuesday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. It lost 50.00 points with a 6.38% decrease and reached 733.00 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 49.15 points with a 6.28% decrease and reached 733.15 INR.
