Nizamabad: Nizamabad Collector C Narayana Reddy has warned private ambulance owners and drivers to collect high rates from patients and their families.
The collector said those who experience problems with ambulance drivers should complain to the Transport Commissioner and Motor Vehicle Inspectors (MVIs).
The Nizamabad Collector said on Tuesday that it had received several complaints from people saying that private ambulance drivers and owners charge exorbitant rates.
He said the ambulance drivers should collect the money from patients in accordance with the Telangana Motor Vehicle Act and DM Act-2005. The collector took strict action by the district administration against those who violated the rules.
If people experience problems with ambulance drivers, they should complain to the District Commissioner for Transport and Nizamabad, Armoor, Bodhan Motor Inspectors.
