Aban Offshore suspends operations again at drilling rig ‘Aban IV’ due to Covid-19 outbreak; Stock up ~1.5%

The company had resumed operations at “Aban IV” on April 17 after its operations were suspended earlier on April 7, owing to an outbreak of Covid-19.

Aban Offshore Limited has suspended operations on one of its drilling rigs “Aban IV” owing to the outbreak of Covid-19.

The company at resumed operations at “Aban IV” on April 17, 2021, after its operations were suspended earlier on April 7, owing to an outbreak of Covid-19.

The company last month had also suspended operations at one of its rigs “Aban III” owing to an outbreak of Covid-19.

Aban Offshore provides offshore drilling services to oil companies, including state-owned ONGC.

At around 11.52 am, Aban Offshore Ltd was trading at Rs32.50 per piece up Rs0.45 or 1.40% from its previous closing of Rs32.05 per piece on the BSE.
