The State Bank of India (SBI) will close the online application process for the recruitment of pharmacists in the clerical team today, 3 May. Interested and eligible candidates, who want to apply, can submit their applications by visiting the SBI career page - sbi.co.in/careers.

The recruitment drive aims at filling a total of 67 vacancies in 15 different circles across the country.

Candidates can follow these steps to apply:

Step 1: Go to the SBI career page, sbi.co.in/careers
Step 2: Search and click on ‘Join SBI’ — ‘Current Openings’
Step 3: Click on the link apply online for the Pharmacist post
Step 4: Continue with ‘New Registration’ and register on the portal
Step 5: Fill the application form and upload all required documents
Step 6: Pay the fee and submit the form
Step 7: Download the form and take a printout for further use

The required age limit for the post of Pharmacist in the clerical team is 30 years.

Eligibility criteria:

i) Candidate needs to pass in SSC or its equivalent examination and minimum Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharma) from recognised university or board
ii) Degree in Pharmacy (B Pharma/M Pharma/Pharma D) or any equivalent degree from any recognised university is needed.

General, OBC and EWS candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 750. However, there is no fee for SC, ST, PWD applicants.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and interview that will be held by the organisation. The online written test will be held tentatively on 23 May. After which a call letter will be uploaded on the bank’s official website, but will also be sent through SMS and emails.

Following this process, candidates will be called for an interview based on performance in the online written test.
