Chennai, May 3 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in-waiting
M K Stalin tonight held discussions with senior government
officials on the prevailing COVID situation, as the daily positive
cases crossed the 20,000 mark in the State.
'I insisted on implementing the preventive measures', the
DMK Chief tweeted.
He also appealed to the people to wear face marks and follow
the COVID protocols put in place by the government to prevent
the virus spread.
It may be noted that soon after the election results favoured
that the DMK will form the next government, Chief Secretary
Rajeev Ranjan, Health Secretary Dr J Radhakrishnan and senior
police officials have been holding constant discussions on the
steps to be taken to prevent the virus spread.
