Is expensive vodka the biggest scam on the planet?
With good vodka the entire goal is to distill it as much as possible, to the point all impurities are removed and it's only ethanol and water. It's basically just an industrial chemical at that point, a mixture of 80% ethanol 20% water.
Given this whole process can be accomplished to perfection for around $10/bottle, what's the point of paying more than that? It's just branding.
