Stock Market on May 3rd: On Monday, both Sensex and Nifty continue their bearish trend in the stock market from the last session of the market. The Sensex is trading below 48,500 levels and nifty trading below 14,570 levels in the stock market. The Sensex lost 299.31 points with a 0.61% decrease and reached 48,480.54 levels. While the nifty lost 64.90 points with a 0.44% decrease and reached 14,565.50 levels.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India on Monday, May 3rd reached 1,99,25,604 with almost 2,18,959 deaths.
