Employee well-being emerges as new value proposition amidst Covid pandemic

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) With a significant percentage of employees being forced to work from remote locations due to havoc wreaked by Covid pandemic, employee wellness is now assuming an increasing strategic role in the people policies from 2020 and beyon,” said Amit Vasistha, founder and chief executive officer of GALF, a holistic wellness aggregator in corporates.
“Pandemic has revealed that offices and workspaces are independent of any location now and companies will be increasingly working on a diversified locational presence of employees, with nearly 25 per cent of the workforce being operational from remote locations of their choice," he said in a release.
In the event of current scenario, a professionally established wellness ecosystem that caters to full 360-degree requirements of an employee’s wellbeing is required to be incorporated in corporate organizations, Mr Vasistha added.
