1. Paper Dance
Paper dance is one of the most common games for people of all ages. This game may also be played in pairs or individually. Assort the children into teams and distribute one sheet of newspaper to each. They must put it on the floor and dance, fold the paper in half, and dance again as the music changes. When the music varies, the paper shrinks and children are eliminated; the last person remaining on the tiniest piece of paper wins.
What you would need are the following:
- Old Newspapers
- Audio Player
Step 1: Spread the newspapers out on the floor and assign the children specific areas.
Step 2: Begin playing music. Participants are required to dance on paper and are not permitted to leave. All that is eliminated from the game.
Step 3: Continue folding the document as the game continues. The winner is the person that lives until the finish.
2. Play Dots and Boxes
The game begins with a dot matrix. The goal is to join the dots to form squares. The game starts with one of the two players drawing a straight line between neighboring dots. Link these dots in reverse. The player who connects the fourth side to form a complete square, receives his original and another chance to create a grid.
The player who has the most initialized squares wins! Sounds easy, eh? We’re guessing it’s not just so straightforward. It’s an excellent strategic thought game that will encourage your child (and you!) to reflect and prepare. Dots and Boxes and similar fun games you can play online on Arkadium Games and Kizi.
3. Look for 4 Leaf Clovers
This is an old classic of ours. What you’ll need for this game are the following:

- Scissors
Step 1: Trace and cut out a handful of four-leaf and three-leaf clovers on green art paper.
Step 2: Disperse them around the space and challenge your child to locate them all within 20 minutes or before the completion of his favorite song.
4. DIY Play Dough
Every kid adores play dough. However, what they enjoy the most is creating their play dough. You would need the following:
- All-purpose flour
- Salt
- Baby oil
Step 1: In a 2:1 ratio, combine flour and salt.
Step 2: Stir in a tablespoon of baby oil and knead the mixture with water. The playdough is prepared.
5. DIY Birdfeeder
DIY Bird Feeder is an outstanding artwork that can keep you entertained for hours. Your child would most likely spend 10-15 minutes creating it and hours watching birds feed on it.
What you would require:

- Water
- A variety of grains
- Twine
