Princess Charlotte turned six years old on Sunday, 2 May – and the Cambridges celebrated her special day with a new portrait of the young royal.

The photo sees Charlotte flash a big smile, while her hair seems to have grown a bit longer. She wears a Rachel Riley floral dress in the portrait taken by mom, Kate Middleton, though she looks just like her dad, Prince William.

The new image comes shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary with a sweet video of life at home with their kids, and Charlotte's brother, Louis, turned three a mere days after his great-grandmother, the queen.

Per People, the Cambridges likely celebrated Princess Charlotte's birthday up at their country home, Anmer Hall on Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham estate in Norfolk amid the long weekend in the UK with the Early May Bank Holiday on 3 May.
