Exclamation Ok some help with diet.

Currently I’m trying to lose weight this a post I made on a separate community, I was told I need to more down at 1,800 calories which I mean seems insanely low for me here is the post:

    Few questions about my diet!

So I’m on around 2,170 calories

Currently doing 30-40mins cardio + strength training
Wanting to lose weigh currently (3 days a week total doing cardio after strength training)

    6’0
    197lbs
    Target: 180lbs

Taking in about 2-3 meals a day currently taking
    Multi vitamin
    Fish oil
    Vitamin d3
    Zinc

A few other supplements like 5-HTP that literally are just for mental benefits

My question is well I have two if that’s okay guys!

What should my ratios in regards to macros be? Yes I like counting macros and calories I just enjoy it

Is it okay to not eat all the calories burned and basically be at even more of a deficit as long as I’m getting the calories?

Any help is really appreciated guys thanks a lot!

If someone agrees I should go down more (I’m new to lifting as well) but I will to 1,910 but what should my ratios be?

Btw is it okay not to eat the calories I have burned?

Don't use ratios for macros, there is no reason for it and it just make meal planning harder. As long as you meet or exceed certain basic levels for protein and fat (say getting at least 130g protein and 65g fat) then you are fine. More is fine too but it all has to fit in your calorie budget.

Calorie level seems reasonable to me. I would struggle on less than 2k myself.
