Bajaj Auto reported a total sales of 388,016 units in April 2021, higher from sales of mere 37,878 units recorded in the same month a year ago.
Of the total, domestic sales stood at 134,471 units in April 2021. The latest sales are not comparable to April last year due to the nationwide lockdown imposed during that month due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
However, exports in April 2021, was the second-highest ever to 253,545 units. The company has registered sales of 37,878 units in April 2020.
Two-wheeler sales stood at 348,173 units in April 2021. Exports of two-wheelers were second-highest ever to 221,603 units in this month.
Meanwhile, commercial vehicles sales were at 39,843 units in April 2021 with exports being at 5,869 units.
On Sensex, Bajaj Auto ended at Rs3853.35 per piece up by Rs22.10 or 0.58%.
