EMRS Recruitment 2021: How to apply for 3,479 PGT/ TGT and other posts; follow these steps

The Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) has opened its online application window for the EMRS Teaching Staff Selection Exam (ETSSE) 2021 for the recruitment of Principal, Vice Principal, PGTs, and TGTs. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website, recruitment.nta.nic.in. The last date to submit the application form is 31 May. Also, the last date to submit the registration fee is 1 June.

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 3,479 vacancies.

Here is the breakdown:

- 1,944 vacancies are for Trained Graduate Teacher
- 1,244 for Post Graduate Teacher
- 175 for Principals
- 116 for Vice Principal

Aspirants can follow these simple steps to apply:

1. Visit the website, https://tribal.nic.in/
2. On the homepage, under the ‘What’s New’ section, click on the ‘Explore’ tab written under the ‘EMRS Teaching Staff Selection Exam’ link
3. A new page will open. Open the ‘EMRS Teaching Staff Selection Exam (ETSSE)-2021’ tab
4. On the new page, scroll down, and apply. Register yourself using email id and phone number
5. After registration, fill in the application form, and note down the system generated application number
6. Upload the required documents, pay the fee and submit the form
7. Download a copy of the confirmation page, If required, take a printout

Details on the exam:

The examination is planned to be conducted in the first week of June which will be held in two shifts, i.e from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 to 6 pm. The total duration of the examination is three hours; where one mark shall be awarded to every correct answer and a 0.25 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer.

Meanwhile, the dates for releasing the admit card will be notified later on the website.

For the position of Principal and Vice-Principal, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000. While for aspirants applying for TGT and PGT posts, the application fee is Rs 1,500. However, SC/ST category candidates have been exempted from the payment of the registration fee.
