Shimla, May 3 (UNI) Western disturbances is hovering the sky with dark cloud in the state as lightening windstorm and rain shower lashed few places of Himachal Pradesh in last 24 hrs.
Met Office said that this capital town had 27 mm rain till 0830 hrs on Monday, Bangana in Una district 21 mm, Bajura on Kullu 16 mm, Sangrah, & Rajgarh of Sirmaur 14 mm each, tourist resort Narkanda 12 mm Kandaghat in Solan, Pachhad in Sirmaur, Hamirpur & Aghar in Kangra eight mm each, Mandi, Bharari in Una & Kahu in Hamirpur seven mm each, Janjehli in Mandi -6 mm, Jubbarhatti in Shimla four mm and Mehre in Kangra three mm.
Dark cloud is hovering over the sky could bring more rain or snowfall in next 24 hrs. The western disturbances likely to bring more rain or snowfall in next few days as Met Office forecast rain or thunder shower or snowfall in few places of the state.
Minimum temperature remained one to two degrees below normal owing the the unseasonal rain or
snowfall.
Minimum temperature of Keylong in Lahaul Spiti was 4.4 degree Celsius, Kalpa in Kinnuar 6.8 degrees , Shimla and Manali ten degrees each Bhuntar 12.7 degrees, Sunderngar 15.8 degrees, Dharamshala 16.8 degreess, Una 22.8 degrees, Nahan 18.9 degrees, Palampur 16.5 degrees, Kangra 19.1 degrees, Mandi 15 degrees, Chamba 14.6 degrees, Bilaspur 22 degrees, Hamirpur 22.2 degrees, Dalhousie 13.4 degrees and Kufri ten degrees respectively.
The Met Office forecast rain or thundershower in few places in the mid and high reaches in next 24 hrs.
