Ludhiana reports 1,605 new Covid-19 cases, 28 deaths

LUDHIANA: Ludhiana on Sunday reported 1,605 new Covid-19 cases and 28 deaths.
There are 7,176 active patients in the district at present.
Deputy commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Sunday informed that a total of 1605 patients (1404 new patients from district Ludhiana and 201 from other states/districts) have tested positive in the last 24 hours.
28 patients lost their lives today (17 from district Ludhiana while one each from districts Mohali, Fazilka, Ropar, Hoshiarpur, Patiala, state Delhi, 3 from State Haryana and 2 from Himachal Pradesh ). Now, the total number of persons who lost their lives including 1410 people from Ludhiana and 715 from other districts.
