CII hails DMK chief Stalin for landmark victory in TN Assembly polls

Chennai, May 2 (UNI) Leading industry body, the Confederation of
Indian Industry (CII) congratulated DMK Chief M K Stalin for his
party's resounding victory in the April six elections to the Tamil Nadu
Assembly.
CII Southern Region Chairman C K Ranganathan, in a statement here,
said ”this landmark victory of DMK led by Mr Stalin has demonstrated
the popular support of the people of Tamil Nadu for his far-sighted,
people centric and inclusive governance to be steered under his
leadership in Tamil Nadu."
He said the CII would work closely with the new government on a
focused agenda comprising manufacturing, MSME, skill development,
entrepreneurship, infrastructure, renewable energy, ICT, agriculture
and food processing, water conservation, women empowerment,
besides focus on youth and rural development.
“CII looks forward to working closely with the Tamil Nadu Government
in making the State a leader in all spheres of development”, he said.
CII will continue its partnership with the State Government in creating
an enabling ecosystem through specific policy interventions towards
ensuring all round growth in the State.
