Kamareddy: A migrant worker belonging to Chhattisgarh was killed and nine others sustained injuries when a newly built wall of god invaded the village of Kamareddy, Adloor Yellareddy, on Sunday night due to heavy winds and rain.
Former MLC Arikela Narsareddy was building the godowns in Adloor Yellareddy town. Workers from Chhattisgarh were instructed for the construction work. On Sunday, the wall collapsed on the workers during construction work.
Laborer Indra Kumar, 48, died instantly, while nine others sustained injuries. Five workers sustained serious injuries and were moved to Hyderabad for better treatment.
Among the remaining injured, one was moved to Kamareddy Hospital and three other women sustained minor injuries and were sent home after receiving on-site treatment.
