It was a birthday, alright, but there were no celebrations, no fancy food and drinks or merrymaking for Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma this year. And her decision behind not celebrating it is something that we can all relate to. The actress, who turned 33 on May 1 has taken to social media to thank fans and loved ones for sending her birthday wishes. In the video that Anushka shared, she said that she didn't feel like celebrating her birthday this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the country. Anushka also revealed that she and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli will be doing their bit to help people suffering from the novel coronavirus. She said it will be announced in the near future. She further appealed to all to help in whatever capacity and support our country in this hour of crisis. She captioned the video with a folded hand emoji. The couple's fans, impressed by their gesture, took to the comments section to applaud them. 'How thoughtful of you! Keep giving me reasons to stan you. More and more each time I see you do something.', one wrote. For the unversed, Virat and Anushka became parents to Vamika on January 11. Talking about the couple, after dating for some years, Virat and Anushka tied the knot in a secret wedding in Italy in December 2017 and they often shell out major couple goals by sharing their all loved-up and adorable pictures.
