I bought this model for my son earlier this year because he wanted a full size mouse. He's an architect and doesn't have big hands but he says that a full-sized mouse is more comfortable to work with.

Maybe it takes time for them to get used to it.
I have big hands and all compact mice are so uncomfortable to me. I feel like I'm using mouse with just my fingers. My (lower?) palm either hangs in air or constantly rubs against the surface.
