Mahindra Bolero is one of the oldest models from the manufacturer which is still in production. It has been in the market for over two decades and is still in demand. Over the years, Mahindra has been making necessary changes and modifications in the Bolero to make it compliant with the current emission and safety norms. It is now BS6 compliant and here we have a video of a Bolero that has been neatly modified. What makes this modified Mahindra Bolero different from others is the fact that, it is probably India’s first or may be only Bolero to get a push button start feature.

The video has been uploaded by SIKAND CAR LUDHIANA PVT LTD on their YouTube channel. The video does not share any detail like the time and cost of this modification. The video starts by showing the central locking key fob that has been added on to this base variant Bolero. The vlogger holds a button pressed on the key fob and the car unlocks and then starts within seconds. This is a feature that we have only started to see on cars like Kia Sonet where one can remotely start the engine of the car using the key fob.

The vlogger then shows the cabin of the Mahindra Bolero. The video then shows the push button to start and switch of the vehicle. None of the variants of Mahindra Bolero get this feature. The cabin on this Mahindra Bolero has been completely modified. It now gets a beige colour interiors. The dashboard has been painted in beige colour with faux wooden panel inserts on the door panels and around the AC vents.

Another modification is the floating aftermarket touchscreen infotainment screen. It is an Android screen and the speaker system on this Bolero has also been updated. Speakers and tweeters are installed on the door of this Bolero. Other modifications done on this Bolero are the seats. They now get a beige colour seat cover with diamond stitching on it. Even door pads get similar type of padding and stitching on them.

Mahindra Bolero is a 7-seater MUV but, on this Bolero, the third row of seat has been removed and the second row seat has been pushed a bit to the rear to create more legroom for passengers. The Bolero now feels a lot more spacious because of this modification. Floor mats have also been installed on this Bolero. Other than that, there are no major modifications seen on the inside of this car.

On the outside, the front grille has been painted in body colour and the stock wheels have been replaced with aftermarket alloy wheels. The stock ORVMs on this Bolero were also replaced with Jeep like units with matrix LED turn indicators on them. Overall, this modified Mahindra Bolero looks pretty neat. Mahindra Bolero BS6 version is powered by a 1.5 litre diesel engine that generates 75 Bhp and 210 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox option only.
