Hyderabad, May 2 (UNI) Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Sunday directed GHMC Deputy Commissioners to start out-patient clinics centre at every Government Hospital, Urban Health Centre and 'Basthi Dawakhanas'.
He also directed that all symptomatic persons should be handed over home treatment kits.
As per the directions of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Chief Secretary held a Tele-Conference
with Zonal Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of GHMC on Covid in GHMC areas from BRKR Bhavan today, a release here said.
The Chief Secretary asked to constitute teams with Municipal Staff, ANM and at least two Asha workers. The teams will visit every household in that area to identify people suffering from fever and other symptoms.
The teams will hand over kits with medicines and advise the symptomatic persons to take them. They will also follow up with the patients and monitor the health conditions.
To take up cleanliness drive in all the Government Hospitals, Urban Health Centres and Basthi Dawakhanas. Illuminate the Hospital premises and take up whitewashing etc to maintain hygienic conditions in the hospital.
Secretary Health S A M Rizvi, Commissioner GHMC Lokesh Kumar, Director of Medical Education Ramesh Reddy, Director of Public Health G Srinivas Rao and other officials were present.
