Coronavirus changed the world as we knew it. Then 2020 turned to 2021, and it only got worse, especially in India where the second wave of COVID-19 is now wreaking havoc everywhere. People are dying outside packed hospitals, and crematoriums are operating to capacity, with massive shortages of COVID-19 medicines and resources. As hard and as hopeless as the situation may seem, there is light. Take Neena Gupta for example. She is still making the most of it at her quaint little home in Mukteshwar and keeping happy. Taking to Instagram, she shared a clip that starts with her talking to Mila, her pet pooch, who is locked inside the house, wanting to come out. She spoke in Hindi in the video. She captioned the post, 'Is vaqt mila ka bada sahara hai.' Almost immediately, her fans showered her with love. Neena has been sharing posts from Mukteshwar where she flew after the lockdown was imposed in Mumbai due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, too, she spent most of her time there with her husband. Earlier, she had shared a video of herself playing the tambourine and singing an old Hindi song. In the clip, she was heard humming the song 'Bahut Diya Dene Wale Ne' from 'Soorat Aur Seerat movie'. She captioned it, 'Baqi bhi kat jayegi friends.' For the unversed, after reaching her home in the hill station, Neena had shared a video. In the clip, she says, 'As soon as the lockdown was announced in Mumbai, I immediately came away to my home in Mukteshwar. People say that the mountains are beautiful but don't like clothes drying out in the open. But I feel that unless clothes are not drying on the clothesline, the washing machine isn't running in its place, a house doesn't feel like home. Mountains are beautiful, but I like these clothes too. I like it because that feels like home.'
