One dead, multiple left injured in N1 collision

One person has died and several others were injured in a collision on the Ben Schoeman N1 highway in Waterfall City, Johannesburg, on Sunday.
"Reports indicate that the driver of a minibus taxi lost control, resulting in a rollover," Netcare911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said in a statement.
Paramedics responded to the scene at approximately 16:00, he said.
"Medics assessed the scene and found that one person had sadly sustained fatal injuries and multiple others had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate," Herbst added.

Victims were treated on the scene and, once stabilised, transported to hospital for further care.
