Medak: Security officials and anti-corruption agencies (ACBs) reached the town of Atchampet in the Ramayampet Mandal of the Medak district to conduct a detailed investigation into the land grabs of the TRS leader and Etela Rajendar, Minister of Health.
As a group of farmers from the villages of Atchampet and Hakimpet in Ramayampet approached Prime Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and accused the Minister of Health of forcibly taking over their lands, the Prime Minister on Thursday evening ordered General Secretary Somesh Kumar to immediately investigate set.
Following this, Vigilance and ACB officials reached Atchampet. While accepting complaints from the farmers of both these towns, they talked to them and visited the lands allegedly taken by the Minister of Health. Officials are expected to disclose the details of their investigation to the media by Friday night.
