HYDERABAD: Task force sleuths arrested two drug peddlers and seized 50 kilos of ganja worth Rs 6 lakh from their possession. South zone task force along with Falaknuma Police arrested Mohammed Khader (26) a car driver from Malakpet and Mohammed Mujeeb (31) from Chandrayangutta. Their associate, Mohammed Aziz, is absconding. Police seized 50 kilos of ganja, an Innova vehicle and two cell phones from their possession. Khader is the native of Nalgonda presently working as a car driver. Due to financial problems, Khader was looking for other avenues to make quick money and discussed his problems with a relative, Aziz. They decided to procure ganja and sell it to customers in Hyderabad, south zone task force inspector S Raghavendra said. Recently, the duo went to Visakhapatnam and purchased ganja from a supplier, Chiranjeevi. They kept the contraband at a common friend, Mujeeb's house in Chandrayangutta. Police intercepted Khader and Mujeeb at Falaknuma while they were trying to meet their prospective customers to sell the ganja on Friday night.
