Former RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin passes in New Delhi
DG (Tihar) Sandeep Goel said Shahabuddin, serving a life sentence for murder in Tihar jail, had contracted the virus on April 20, after which he was admitted to DDU hospital.
Former Rastriya Janta Dal (RJD) MP Mohammad Shahabuddin passed away today. He was being treated at the DDU hospital in New Delhi after testing positive for Covid-19.

Md Shahabuddin was several times MP from Siwan constituency. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar condoled the death of Shahabuddin.
