Centre provides nearly 16 crore 37 lakh Covid vaccine doses to States

Uttar Pradesh provided over one crore 36 lakh doses and the consumption including wastage in the state is nearly one crore 33 lakh.

The Centre has so far provided nearly 16 crore 37 lakh Covid vaccine doses to States and Union Territories free of cost.

Of them, the total consumption including wastages stood at over 15 crore 58 lakh doses.

Union Health Ministry in a statement said that more than 79 lakh COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States and UTs to be administered.

Over 17 lakh vaccine doses will be received in addition by the States within the next 3 days. As per data of the Health Ministry, Maharashtra has so far received over on crore 63 lakh doses of vaccine and the total consumption including wastage is around one crore 62 lakh.

Uttar Pradesh provided over one crore 36 lakh doses and the consumption including wastage in the state is nearly one crore 33 lakh.
