Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 7,754 new Covid cases and 51 deaths on Friday, bringing the death toll to 2,312 and the total number of positive cases so far to 4,433,360. The number of active cases in Telangana reached 78,888.
Between Thursday and Friday, authorities did 77, 930 Covid rapid tests from which the results of 5,186 samples are awaited. On Friday, 6,542 individuals recovered with a recovery rate of 81.68 percent.
So far a total of 1, 29, 83, 784 Covid-19 tests were done in the state, of which 4, 43, 360 tested positive and 3, 62, 160 persons recovered.
