    Interesting.

I might invest in a cow and drink it straight from the nipple. No homo

Is it more expensive than normal milk?

I grew up on a farm and we used to drink milk from the tank until I got sick from it. We bought a kitchen pasteurizer and used to do it ourselves but then just went back to buying it at the store. Not really safe to drink until its been treated.

Does a chicks breast milk count? If so, it tastes like a slightly sweetened non fat milk.

That sucks to hear about the digestive issues. I used to have similar issues consuming milk in some Westernized countries but then I was fine in others. Srs

    Wrong.

Edit: Not sure why you got sick but anything can happen. You can get sick from anything if its handled wrong. Somebody didn't clean the machine or the teats or something. Not that hard to make it clean. Somebody fukked up hygienically that's why you got sick.

Pasteurizing allows the milk to last longer which helps with shipping / transporting.

Killing the "bad bacteria" also kills the "good bacteria" and makes the milk FAR less nutritious. If you don't buy milk that's "old" (aka mass produced and shipped / supermarket milk) then it's not going to grow nasty chit in it.

To OP, cold pressing isn't raw milk. Still killing off all the good bacteria.

You have as much risk of getting sick from raw milk as you do from supermarket vegetables (see all the e coli / salmonella recalls). This is provided you get your milk locally.

It's only "illegal" to sell raw milk because they can't mass produce it safely. So it's to support big dairy business and chit on the small farmer. There are countless food regulations in this vein and plenty more coming. They have their eye on small meat farmers now.

I was talking to my dad and he drank it his entire childhood and never got sick. I wouldn't drink it raw from a source I don't trust but if the cows healthy I'd gulp it all up.

This brand is cold pressed which eliminates the risk but it also gets rid of good bacteria just like pasteurization does. The extent my government goes to ban raw milk and "fact check" is what made me want to try it in the first place, it reminded me of a certain pandemic.

Yeah i'm aware it's definitely not fully raw but the taste is still amazing and has been way better for me. Probably helps that the company that makes it have cows that eat grass on a pasture vs whatever the fuk i was getting

We get it by the gallon all the time from a local gal with her own cow. I personally stick to pasteurized but the LTR and daughter absolutely devour it so maybe I’m a phaggot

The color as I sit a jug of raw vs homogenized next to each other gets me
