Hyderabad: Eatala Rajender was removed from health ministry on Saturday amid fields and rapid development events.
Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has approved the transfer of the medical, health and family welfare portfolio from Etela Rajender to Prime Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
After allegations of land grabbing against Eatala came to light, the prime minister almost immediately ordered a high-level investigation and ordered Director-General of Vigilance and Enforcement Purna Chander to submit a preliminary report on the issue.

Eight farmers from the villages of Achampeta and Hakimpet in Masaipeta Mandal of Medak district lodged a complaint with the prime minister alleging that Minister Etela Rajender and his followers were illegally occupying the allotted lands and threatening the villagers.
At a press conference on Saturday night, however, Eatala denied the allegations, calling it a conspiracy to tarnish its image.
Have a sitting judge, CBI or any other institution investigate my character and my assets. “If I am found guilty, I am ready to face any punishment,” he said.
