Mumbai News LIVE Updates: No stock to vaccinate people aged 45 and above, says Deputy CM Ajit Pawar

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday said that the state would have seen ten lakh active COVID-19 cases if the state government had not imposed new lockdown-like restrictions. Even though the state is facing a shortage of vaccines, CM said that the first dose will be given on May 1 to people between 18 to 44 age group. Meanwhile, Mumbai city on reported new COVID-19 cases below 4,000, however, the rising death toll remains a worry. Catch all the latest updates here
