Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday said that the state would have seen ten lakh active COVID-19 cases if the state government had not imposed new lockdown-like restrictions. Even though the state is facing a shortage of vaccines, CM said that the first dose will be given on May 1 to people between 18 to 44 age group. Mumbai Police sends back beneficiaries from BKC Jumbo Vaccination Centre
