Mancherial: Government Whip and Chennur MLA Balka Suman said the government is of utmost importance for improving infrastructure in rural areas and for the well-being of weaker parts. He inaugurated a high-rise bridge over a stream near the town of Bokkalagutta in Mandamarri on Saturday.
Suman said the government is allocating sufficient funds for the construction of roads and the construction of bridges with the aim of improving connectivity in rural areas. He said the government is implementing a number of schemes for the well-being of financially weak communities. He cited Asara pension, Rythu Bandhu and Kalyana Laxmi schemes.
The building was valued at Rs 3.86 million and fulfilled a long-awaited dream of Bokkalagutta residents, who were forced to drive five kilometers to reach Mancherial-Bellampalli road due to a lack of bridge over the stream. This has drastically reduced the distance between their town and the national highway.
Suman later inaugurated 18 car rickshaws granted to the Kyathanpalli Municipality under Swachh Bharat Mission. He then handed over checks to 33 beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) during a program held in Chennur Town. He gave Ramzan gifts to Muslims in Kyathanpalli.
