Lockdown: Chennai Metro Rail releases Sunday train schedule for May
Metro trains will be available for every one hour from 7am to 9pm on all Sundays in the month of May. There will be no peak hour service on Sundays. In a release, CMRL said metro trains would be available from Wimco Nagar to Airport every one hour.
Trains will be run every two hours from Puratchi Thalaivar Dr M G Ramachandran Central Metro to Airport.
Trains will be operated every two hours from Puratchi Thalaivar Dr M G Ramachandran Central Metro to St Thomas Mount.
The same frequency will be maintained for trains operating in the opposite direction in these corridors.
At present, CMRL operates trains from 5.30am to 9pm on weekdays with a peak hour frequency of five minutes and non-peak hour frequency of 10 minutes.
