Rupee falls 2 paise against USD

Mumbai, Apr 30 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday declined marginally by two paise to settle at 74.06 against the greenback on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
No major fluctuation was seen during the day, as the local unit rose by one paisa at 74.03 in early trade, and closed at 74.06, easing by two paise as compared to its previous close.
The local unit registered day's high and low at 74.10 and 74.01 respectively.
The Rupee was seen weak owing to strong dollar against other world currencies amid negative equity market, the dealers added.
