KCR orders investigation into land grab charges against health minister

Hyderabad: In an important development, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Prime Minister of Telangana, on Friday instructed to investigate allegations of soil intrusion against E. Rajender, Minister of Health.

The Prime Minister instructed General Secretary Somesh Kumar to investigate and submit to the District Collector a comprehensive report on the complaints of violations of land on the outskirts of Achampet in Masaipet Mandal in the Medak district. has the prime minister’s office.

DGP, Vigilance, Purnachandra Rao were also instructed to find out the truth about the allegations. The CM has issued orders that the primary investigation into the case should take place immediately. He also asked the official to conduct a detailed investigation and submit the reports.

The prime minister ordered the investigation after some farmers in the Medak district lodged a complaint with him, claiming that Rajender forcibly occupied more than 100 hectares of their designated lands to start a poultry industry.

Eight villagers from the villages of Achampet and Hakimpet claim that the minister and his followers took over their lands to start a poultry industry. They intervened between the prime minister and appealed to him to ensure that the allotted lands given to them by the government were returned to them immediately.

The land charge against a senior cabinet minister has caused shock waves in political circles. This is the first time a minister in the TRS government has faced allegations of land grabbing, and the victims have approached the prime minister directly.

The victims told the prime minister that in 1994 they had been given land designated by the government. They allege that the minister and his followers Suri alias Alli Sudershan and Yamzala Sudershan Reddy forcibly obtained the land allocation certificates from them.
