Open Fiber invests EUR 2.5 mln in Ortona FTTH rollout

Italian wholesale operator Open Fiber said it has signed an agreement with Ortona town council to bring FTTH broadband to the Abruzzo locality. Under the project, a total of 7,677 homes and offices in the town will eventually be able to sign up to FTTH connections at download speeds of up to 1Gbps in a total of investment of EUR 2.5 million.
