What Are You Playing This Weekend?

This weekend is about distracting myself with an MMO so I don’t buy the big new shiny PS5 game Returnal.

Don’t get me wrong, Returnal sounds great and looks lovely. But Resident Evil Village is coming out soon on May 7, and once it’s out I’ll be playing that exclusively for a bit. So why waste money on a game I know I won’t be playing for long? Instead, I’m going to play more Elder Scrolls Online and ignore the shiny, new game. I’m going to remain strong. I won’t buy it. I won’t.

I might buy it. I hate myself.

How about you folks? What are you playing this weekend?

Ive been playing through Yakuza Kiwami. I started it a couple months after it released but i had just finished Yakuza 0 and so i had some Yakuza Fatigue, so i ended up falling off after 2 or 3 chapters and then it fell into my backlog. Now here i am, been playing it for a couple weeks and am at chapter 11 with more than half the substories done. I have no idea how many chapters there are, but im sure im close to the end.

After i finish Yakuza Kiwami im gonna move over to something else from my Backlog. Ive got to finish Dark Pictures Little Hope, Crosscode, Death Stranding, Spiderman PS4 and then start Miles Morales, a lot of games i have on switch, and more.

Ive had Yakuza Like A Dragon for a few months because i bought it on sale, but i dont know when i want to start it. I wanted to start after i get through Yakuza 1-6, but at this rate it would take me months to finish. I might just play through Yakuza Kiwami 2 and then move on to Like A Dragon, and then go back to the Yakuzas 3-6
