Covid positive Randhir Kapoor shifted to ICU, more tests to be done

Randhir Kapoor said that he has been shifted to ICU for more tests. The actor was admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital on April 29 after testing Covid positive.

Randhir Kapoor has been hospitalised after testing Covid positive.

Randhir Kapoor, who had tested positive for Covid-19 on April 29 and got himself hospitalised along with five of his staff members, has been shifted to Intensive Care Unit. The veteran actor revealed that he has been shifted to the ICU for further tests. He is admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Ambani Hospital.

RANDHIR KAPOOR IN ICU FOR TESTS

On April 30, Randhir Kapoor told ETimes that he has been shifted to the ICU of Kokilaben Ambani Hospital to conduct more tests. He said, “I have been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit to do some further tests. The hospital is taking very good care of me and I thank Tina Ambani. Everything is under control. They are going all out for me. The doctors are around all the time.”

The actor revealed that he underwent the Covid-19 test after feeling "some shivering". He had a bit of fever which is gone now. Overall, he is in “no discomfort”.

RANDHIR KAPOOR TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Randhir Kapoor tested positive for Covid-19 on April 29 and got himself admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. He told TOI, "I have no clue how I got Covid. I am surprised. Let me also tell you that my entire staff of five members, too, has tested positive, and I have got them hospitalised with me in the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital."

RANDHIR ATTENDED BABITA KAPOOR'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Randhir Kapoor had attended Babita Kapoor's birthday party at Kareena Kapoor's home on April 20. The party was also attended by Karisma Kapoor and her son, Kiaan. After Randhir got diagnosed with the virus, Babita, Karisma and Kareena Khan too got tested. Telling about their reports, the veteran actor told TOI, "Their reports have come negative".

Randhir Kapoor is the eldest son of late filmmaker Raj Kapoor. He lost his young brothers Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor within a span of a year. Today (April 30) marks the first death anniversary of Rishi Kapoor, who died of cancer. Rajiv Kapoor passed away in February this year following a heart attack.
