Popular south actress Aishwarya Lekshmi, who is seen in films like Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, Varathan, Action and others, has praised Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan for tackling the second-wave of COVID in the state in the mosts efficient manner. She expressed gratitiude to CM for purchasing 1 crore doses of COVID vaccine from manufactures and making it available free for the citizens. She shared a screenshot of Kerala's CM tweet, which reads, “Kerala will purchase 1 crore doses of #COVID19 vaccines from the open market. 70L doses of Covishield and 30L doses of Covaxin will be procured for the next 3 months, May - July, for Rs. 483 crore. Priority for 2nd dose. Our vaccination drive will go ahead, uninterrupted." The actress appreciated him and wrote, “I love you Chief Minister, I have zero political party inclinations but I am in awe of the way you are handling things in our state. Though the trying times are far from over, this gives the much-needed ray of hope.” The actress had earlier contracted the virus and got recovered earlier this month.
