Hyderabad: The keys to the commissioner’s task force on Friday struck an illegal oxygen gas godown and recycled cylinders.
According to police, Ravikanth and Chandrakanth live within the confines of Puranapool. For the past few months, they have been selling oxygen cylinders under the banner “United Gas Agencies” in Mallepally, Bazar Ghat, Hyderabad.
As a result of Covid-19 pandemic situation is the majority of the public under it because oxygen cylinders are not available in the hospitals and in the market. As such, the defendants devised a plan to sell the oxygen cylinders at a higher price in Black Marketing to make money illegally.
As such, they buy oxygen cylinders from distributors at state price, and the same will be dumped in their store at “United Gas Agencies” and have not maintained any precautions of fire safety, selling them to needy customers at a high price in the black market and illegal win easy money by violating government orders.
Police raided the premises of the gas agency and took oxygen cylinders from their possession.
