Hexatronic ends Q1 with orders up 67% year on year as Covid-19 has little impact

Friday 30 April 2021 | 12:47 CET | News
Hexatronic has reported a 45 percent rise in net sales in the first quarter of 2021 to SEK 634.8 million from SEK 437.3 million a year earlier. Covid-19 had minor negative effects on operations in Q1, mainly related to higher transport costs and the indirect effect of raising raw material prices, with higher plastic costs likely to affect the Q2 gross margin. It has entered Q2 with an order book 67 percent higher organically than at the same point last year, or up 28 percent excluding submarine cable projects.
