Brb good luck getting folks with heavy accents to do the presentations & consulting work

Brb enjoying my 30 second commute from bed to office each morning while the tradies battle traffic. LMAO!

If your job can be done remotely you'd be foolish not to assume down the track they may look at outsourcing those jobs to places like India for labour rates a fraction of the cost.

Edit: I work in sales - Agreed certain WFH jobs will be safe. Mainly referring to jobs where you aren't talking or presenting to people.

According to tradies I'll be replaced by Pajeet soon even though literally nobody likes working with indians that live on the other side of the world. Just listening to them talk for 10 minutes when I need an IT issue resolved drives me insane.

Been doing it for over 5 years now. They brought on a couple folks from India but have them do some tech work, not the presenting/advising to C-Suite & other chit I do for clients. And those clients are happy to do it in person OR from home.

Yeah I mainly referring to people who have started working from home in the last 12-16 months due to COVID.

And you even said they brought on a couple of folks from India for tech work, they're the kinds of jobs that will be lost.
Presenting and stuff you do, and the sales stuff I do will be fine.
