Altron expects higher FY EPS after Bytes demerger

Thursday 29 April 2021 | 15:23 CET | News
South African technology group Altron expects its basic earnings per share (BEPS) to increase more than 100 percent for the year ended 28 February, thanks to the Bytes Technology Group demerger in December. In a trading update, Altron said it expects BEPS to be between ZAR 32.56 and ZAR 32.70 compared with the restated BEPS of ZAR 1.75 a year earlier. The increase in BEPS is mainly a result of the realised profit from the Bytes demerger.
