Covid-19: Delhi sees 368 fatalities during past 24 hrs, 25,986 test '+' ve

New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) The national capital on Wednesday registered a surge of 25,986 fresh cases of COVID-19 while 368 people lost their lives.
The new additions took the City's caseload to 10,5,3701 and the death toll to 14,616.
The positivity rate in Delhi declined slightly to stand at 31.76 per cent from Monday's 35.02 per cent.
As many as 81,829 people were tested in the past day while 17,862 people were cured and discharged taking the total recoveries to 9,58,792.
Currently, there are 53,819 COVID patients under home isolation across the city. The number of active cases is 99,752 which includes patients under home isolation. Containment zones also rose to 33,749.
Meanwhile, the government vaccinated 51,718 people in the last 24 hours out of which 32,272 beneficiaries received the first dose while 19,446 were administered the second dose. Till now, cumulatively, 31,01,562 people have received a vaccine jab in the national capital.
