Hyderabad: An industry-friendly, tailor-made policies that facilitate easy set-up of units and incentives are some of the key factors that have attracted the attention of IT companies to not only their base in tier II cities but also cities III in Telangana to establish.
“Policies, incentives and the support provided by the state government, in addition to creating a favorable atmosphere, and more importantly, keeping promises are important factors that attract IT companies to the state,” said Vijay Rangineni, CEO of IT Hub, told Telangana Today.
He said these companies benefit greatly from it, but unlike top cities, facilities in II and III cities can be arranged much faster, and in most places it is a plug-and-play mode.
“The availability of quality manpower is also no longer a challenge. The talent in these places is just as good as in top cities, ”he pointed out, adding that there are, for example, many engineering colleges in and around Warangal, apart from NIT. “The major cities face infrastructure problems, and this is where, according to II cities, companies are a more ideal and easy place to operate,” he said.
From the perspective of employees, they can stay in their own places or at least be very close to them. They do not have to travel too much in the midst of pollution, and, more importantly, do not have to spend much on rent or stay in shared accommodation. It helps them a lot, Vijay Rangineni said.
